On the 12th April 2021, B-Active Health & Fitness Centre will be reopening after the hopefully final lockdown. They have gone to great lengths to ensure that the gym will be safe for their loyal and lovely members and their fantastic team. The B-Active team has been working tirelessly to get all systems in place. They have received hundreds of emails and are slowly working through them, so please bear with them if you are still waiting for a reply. We hope that the following information will help answer some of your questions.
B-Active Gym understands the strong connection between mental health and exercise. According to the Mayo Clinic, exercise can make a significant difference in improving mood and reducing anxiety. Exercise not only helps prevent and improve various health problems but also has psychological benefits that can enhance overall well-being. B-Active Gym encourages its members to stay active to improve their mental health and physical well-being.
Unfortunately, B-Active Gym has faced another lockdown, but they assure their members that they will be waiting to welcome them back again with the same friendliness and excitement as before. The next review of local tier restrictions will take place on the 13th January 2021, following another review of the tier system. If you have any concerns, feel free to email B-Active Gym, and they will do their best to respond promptly.
Regarding gym memberships, they will be frozen until the gym reopens. B-Active Gym also addresses the concern of catching COVID-19 at the gym by sharing new research from industry body, ukactive. This research suggests that gyms are almost risk-free environments for COVID-19, with statistically insignificant results. B-Active Gym has taken this into account and has collated data from over 1,300 gyms, health clubs, and leisure centres to analyze the prevalence of the virus within the sector's facilities.
In addition to physical exercise, B-Active Gym recognises the importance of mindfulness-based practices and therapies in improving mental well-being. Mindfulness-based practices have shown to decrease anxiety and stress levels and prevent relapses of depression. They leave participants with a clearer, more focused mind and a relaxed attitude. B-Active Gym encourages members to incorporate mindfulness into their routines.
If you are interested in becoming a member of B-Active Gym, they offer membership plans starting from as little as £18 per month. Join now to enjoy their facilities and improve your physical and mental well-being.
