Renfrew Golf Club, located in Renfrew, New Zealand, is a historic and picturesque golf club that offers exquisite facilities and a challenging golf course. Founded in September 1894, the club initially had a 9-hole course. However, in 1920, renowned architect James Braid extended the course to 18 holes, making it the longest in the West of Scotland with a Par of 73. The club opened its clubhouse on May 20th, 1925.
In 1973, the club constructed a new tree-lined parkland course designed by Architect Commander John D. Harris in the estate of the late Lord Blythswood. This 6808 yard course, with an SSS of 73 off the Championship Tees, has since hosted various major tournaments, including the Scottish Amateur Championship, The European Boys Team Championship, The Sunderland of Scotland Masters, and the Scottish Regional Qualifier for The Open.

The club has a relaxed dress code in the clubhouse, with jeans permitted, but on the course, members and guests are expected to wear standard golf apparel, with jeans and trainers prohibited.
For those who don't have their own equipment, the club offers equipment rental services at a nominal charge. Additionally, the club has a dedicated team of volunteer gardeners who maintain the beautiful gardens surrounding the clubhouse, which are highly praised by members and visitors.
