Renew Reformer Pilates is a Pilates studio located in Waltham Cross, offering high-quality reformer Pilates classes in a welcoming and supportive environment. The studio is owned and operated by Jen, a highly experienced and passionate Pilates instructor.

Reformer Pilates is a method of exercise that was originally developed by Joseph Pilates. It involves the use of a specially designed apparatus called a reformer, which consists of a sliding carriage, springs, and various adjustable components. Reformer Pilates is known for its ability to strengthen and tone the body, improve posture, and prevent injuries.

At Renew, the focus is on teaching a dynamic style of reformer Pilates that is engaging and challenging, while still adhering to the principles of Pilates, such as breath control, centering, flow, precision, and concentration. The aim is for every participant to leave their class feeling taller, energised, and renewed.

Classes at Renew are split into beginner and intermediate levels, ensuring that participants receive plenty of guidance and help to correct and improve their technique. To provide personalised attention, classes are kept small, with a maximum of six people. This allows the instructors to provide individualised feedback and cater to each participant's specific needs and goals.

During the classes, the instructors at Renew pay particular attention to improving posture, flexibility, and mobility while simultaneously strengthening and toning the whole body through a variety of exercises. The studio believes that exercise should make you feel good, and they strive to provide a space where clients can fully focus on themselves and their bodies during their classes.

Renew is founded on the belief that fitness is about feeling good in your body. Owner and instructor, Jen, has a long-standing career in the fitness industry and understands the transformative power of Pilates for both the body and mind. She has worked with individuals from all walks of life, including dancers, athletes, and those managing injuries or pain.

Jen's approach is to guide clients safely towards discovering their body's true capabilities. She greatly values the investment each client makes in themselves and considers it a privilege to be a part of their Pilates journey.

To participate in a class at Renew, clients are advised to wear comfortable clothing that allows for freedom of movement, such as leggings or tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt or sports bra. It is recommended to avoid clothing with zips or hair clips, as these can be uncomfortable when lying on the reformer.
