Rembuden Martial Arts

Welcome to Rembuden Institute of Martial Arts, located in Warner, Brisbane, Queensland. Rembuden offers a range of martial arts instruction, including Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate, Japanese Sword (Kenjutsu, Iaijutsu, Iaido), Jodo - Shinto Muso Ryu Jodo, Koryu arts, Jutte, Kusarigama, and walking stick.

At Rembuden, we are a Koryu Dojo that focuses on non-competition based training. We believe in a cooperative and safe environment, where students can learn and grow in a stimulating format of pre-arranged combative drills and Kata. Our training methods have been handed down from Headmaster to Headmaster, with a lineage traced back to pre-1867.

Our Dojo, known as CHUSHINKAN, is conveniently located in the northern suburb of Warner in Brisbane. We welcome both beginners and advanced students to join us and become part of our traditional martial arts community. Membership is available by application.
