Well-being, and social inclusion. Our mission is to create a positive and inclusive environment where individuals of all ages and abilities can engage in physical fitness activities, learn new skills, and develop their potential.
At Reds in the Community, our values are centred around excellence, professionalism, and dedication. We have a team of experienced and passionate coaches who are committed to delivering high-quality sports coaching and ensuring the well-being and development of every participant.
Our primary focus is on providing sports provision to primary schools, offering a profit-share model to ensure sustainable school sport for years to come. We believe in the power of sport to inspire and educate young people, and through our coaching sessions, we aim to promote physical activity, teamwork, and personal growth.
In addition to our school programmes, we offer a range of community-based programmes suitable for all ages. Our Little Kicks programme is designed for children aged 4–6 years, introducing them to the basics of football in a fun and engaging environment. Skills Centres, for children aged 7–11 years, provide more advanced coaching and skill development.
For those looking for personalised coaching, we offer 1-2-1 private coaching sessions, where participants can focus on their specific goals and receive tailored guidance and support. Our holiday camps provide a fun and active way for children to spend their school holidays, with a combination of coaching, games, and activities.
We also cater to celebratory events with our birthday party packages, where children can enjoy a football-themed party with their friends and receive coaching from our experienced staff.
As the community arm of Workington AFC, we are proud to be a part of West Cumbria's leading community football programme. Our aim is to attract the best young players locally and provide them with the opportunity to progress their careers within our Academy, other non-league clubs, or the professional game.
In addition to our football-specific programmes, we also aim to engage and develop partnerships with community organisations to provide fundraising initiatives. We believe in giving back to our community and making a positive impact beyond the field.
