Red Deer Skating Club

The Red Deer Skating Club is an ice skating club located in Red Deer, central Alberta. As the largest skating club in the region, the Red Deer Skating Club is dedicated to teaching and inspiring skaters of all ages. Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced skater looking to improve your skills, we have a program for you.

Our skating programs cater to a wide range of interests and skill levels. CanSkate is our foundational program that focuses on developing strong basic skills in skating, with specific skills tailored to hockey, ringette, speed skating, and figure skating. CanPowerSkate is an intensive program designed for hockey and ringette skaters, focusing on balance, power, agility, speed, and endurance.

For teens interested in skating, our TeenSkate program offers a fun and inclusive environment to explore the fundamentals of skating with a professional coach. Adults can also join in the fun with our AdultSkate program, which offers recreational, test, and competitive opportunities.

For skaters looking to transition to more advanced levels, we offer PreSTARSkate, a program designed to help skaters move from CanSkate to STARSkate. STARSkate focuses on developing figure skating skills in areas such as ice dance, skating skills, free skate, and artistic skating.
