At Reading Tango Club, we believe in creating a supportive and inspirational environment for learning Argentine Tango. Our club serves as a hub for tango enthusiasts in Reading, offering a range of weekly tango classes taught by some of the best professionals in the UK. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to enhance your skills, we have classes suited to every level.

Our not-for-profit club is dedicated to using any funds generated to bring exceptional teachers, musicians, and performers to Reading. We prioritise fast learning and a friendly atmosphere in our classes, ensuring that every student feels comfortable and confident on their tango journey.

From beginners to advanced dancers, we cater to all levels and aspects of tango. Our expert professional teachers have extensive experience and are committed to helping you improve, add flair to your dancing, and gain a deeper understanding of musicality and improvisation.

In addition to our classes, we host vibrant and welcoming milongas (social dances) where you can enjoy traditional tango music and connect with fellow dancers. We hold two milongas each month, including a Saturday evening Milonga Mariposita in the heart of Reading and a matinee milonga at the Moulsford Pavilion on the last Sunday afternoon of the month.

One of our proudest achievements is the establishment of the Reading Tango Festival, which has grown into a major annual event since its inception in 2012. Dancers from across the UK and beyond gather for this festival, and we're currently planning the 2024 edition. More details will be published on the official Reading Tango Festival site.
