

RB Corp. Instruction (RBCI) is a dynamic youth dance company located in Kedron, Queensland. Founded in 2018 by the talented and highly experienced Artistic Director, Riley Baldwin, RBCI is dedicated to nurturing and promoting the art of contemporary dance among young, aspiring dancers.
Riley Baldwin, a native of Bundaberg, embarked on his dance journey in 2009 when he began full-time studies under the guidance of Barbara Eversen at the Australian Dance Performance Institute. In 2010, he successfully auditioned for the prestigious New Zealand School of Dance, where he specialised in contemporary dance. During his time in Wellington, Riley had the opportunity to perform works by renowned choreographers such as Rafael Bonachela, Garry Stewart, and Antony Hamilton. He also received tutelage from industry professionals like Anouk van Dijk, Richard Cilli, and Craig Bary.
In 2014, he had the privilege of working with acclaimed independent artist Lina Limosani.
Since graduating in 2013, Riley has been determined to further develop his craft and contribute to the dance community through coaching and choreography. In 2015, he established Riley Baldwin Youth Projects before relocating to Brisbane to pursue his passion on a larger scale. In 2018, RB Corp. Instruction was born, serving as a platform for Riley to reinforce his commitment to contemporary dance and inspire younger generations to embrace innovation.
Riley currently resides at Classical Coaching Australia, where he continues to hone his skills as a dancer and coach. He also works as a freelance artist, carefully selecting projects that align with his artistic vision. His talent and expertise have earned him invitations to coach at various workshops and intensives, and he has been entrusted to coach students for the esteemed Prix de Lausanne ballet competition held in Switzerland.
Riley's flair and unique approach to dance have been recognised at numerous events and competitions worldwide. His students have gained national and international awards, as well as placements in prestigious company schools. Some accolades include Youth America Grand Prix Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals, Alana Haines Australasian Awards Finalists, BPAC Ballet & Contemporary Scholarships Runner-Up and Finalists, RAD Margot Fonteyn International Ballet Competition Finalists, RAD Advanced 1 Bursary for Choreography Award, AICD International Ballet Competition Finalists, Sydney Eisteddfod Ballet Scholarship Finalists, and In10sity Dance Choreography Award.
Riley draws inspiration from his life experiences and the works of talented artists and choreographers such as Malia Johnston, Victoria Columbus, and Lina Limosani. His bold approach encourages his students to explore their maximum potential, unlocking their purest abilities. Under his guidance, dancers discover and embrace their unique styles, resulting in captivating and original works of art. Riley ensures that every session is treated with meticulous care and attention, as he believes that the refinement of technical practise is essential for creating exceptional new works.

His contributions to the Australian dance community continue to earn him growing respect and admiration nationwide.
