Dear Sports Community,
Sarah, the organiser of the upcoming event, is keen to share some exciting details with you. Sarah has been tirelessly working behind the scenes to ensure that this year's event continues to build on its successes.
Founded in 2012, Razzamataz Theatre Schools Sheffield has grown rapidly into a recognised name within the performing arts scene. Their approach focuses on bolstering each child's confidence, helping them forge new friendships, and learn valuable skills, all within a secure and enjoyable setting.
The accolades they've garnered, including being awarded Most Outstanding School four times and their recognition as a top fundraiser for The Future Fund, speak volumes about the dedication and effort from both students and staff.
Razzamataz Sheffield often performs in the local community, previously gracing venues like Meadowhall, Sheffield Town Hall, the Sheffield Lyceum, and the Sheffield Christmas Light Switch On. Every year, they produce a stage show where all students get a chance to display their talents. They've even had performances in London's West End and Disneyland Paris.
A standout feature of Razzamataz Sheffield is their engagement with industry professionals. Students have had the chance to attend workshops led by working performers like David Ribi from Channel 5's Milkshake and cast members from top West End musicals such as Come From Away. This unique exposure helps students gain a firsthand understanding of the professional world of performing arts.
Their commitment to students' futures is evident through numerous success stories, with many securing places at renowned institutions like SLP College, CAPA College, and Shockout Arts. The school's own Future Fund charity has also provided financial support to students continuing their training.
Razzamataz Sheffield offers a variety of additional opportunities, including participation in Children's University, annual award ceremonies, and summer and Easter schools. It's this dedication to enriching their students' lives that truly sets them apart.
Parental feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the supportive team, exciting performances, and the wealth of opportunities for growth and development.
In short, Sarah hopes that everyone enjoys this year's event and takes full advantage of the unique opportunities on offer. She extends her gratitude to all for supporting Razzamataz Theatre Schools Sheffield and contributing to its vibrant community.
Best regards,
Sarah
