Welcome to the Ranger School of Dance! The club is excited to kick off Term 1 and wishes everyone a Happy New Year. After a relaxing Summer break, it's time to get back into the routine and work towards achieving dance goals. Don't forget to take it easy and enjoy the journey.
There's an upcoming event called Cinderella Climbs Up The Beanstalk/Kaleidoscope on Saturday, 23rd March 2024 at the Regent Theatre in Waimate. Students from Primary to Advanced levels will be showcasing their talent. A dress rehearsal will take place on Saturday, 16th March at the Studio. Make sure to grab your tickets now, they are available for collection at your next class. Ticket prices are $20 for adults, $10 for children and seniors. Parents who will be chaperoning won't have to pay.
If you have any leotards, shoes, or dancewear to sell, feel free to place them in a bag with details and leave it on the table. We have an honesty policy when it comes to these items. Also, don't forget that bbo Dance Membership is due by the end of February. By renewing your membership, you can save approximately $100 at exam time.
We highly recommend considering participating in the bbo Day from 15th-19th July in Christchurch. It will be an intense week of dance and a fantastic experience for dancers who are truly committed. More information and forms can be found on the club's website and have also been sent via email.
During classes, we kindly request everyone to keep talking to a minimum, especially when it comes to phone calls. If you need to make or take a call, we ask that you step outside.
Term fees are due at the beginning of each Term and should be regarded as your invoice. You can conveniently pay via direct bank transfer or cash in an envelope.
Here are the term fees for each level:
- Intro to Ballet, Pre-Primary, Primary: $130.00
- Grade One Ballet: $140.00
- Grade Two Ballet: $160.00
- Grade Three, Four: $190.00
- Inter-Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced One: $220.00
- Advanced Two Ballet: $240.00
- Contemporary/Body Conditioning (Reduced Fee for Ballet Students): $140.00
- Contemporary/Body Conditioning (non-Ballet Students): $70.00
