Welcome to Ralston Bowling Club, a vibrant, and friendly bowling club located in Paisley, New Zealand. Although the outdoor season is currently on hiatus until April, the clubhouse is still bustling with a range of activities to keep members engaged.
Throughout the winter, there are a number of activities taking place on various days. Mondays are dedicated to the Ladies Short Carpet, with games starting at 1:30 pm. Meanwhile, the Gents Short Carpet sessions begin at 7 pm. Tuesdays are reserved for the Veterans, who gather for their Short Carpet Whist Club at 1:30 pm, starting from the 10th of October.
In addition, free play on the Carpet is offered at night.
Wednesdays see the Veterans Short Carpet League and Veterans Free play in the afternoon from 1 pm. The Bridge Club also meets on Wednesdays at 1:30 pm, allowing members to enjoy an engaging game. Gents Short Carpet League takes place at night, offering free play when teams are away.
On Thursdays, the Ladies Short Carpet resumes at 1:30 pm from the 12th of October. In the evenings, the Upstairs bar is open to all members, providing a welcoming space for everyone to relax and enjoy each other's company.
Come Fridays in November, the Mixed Short Carpet Bar opens at 7 pm, allowing all members to gather for a fun-filled evening. This offers another opportunity to socialise and unwind after a busy week.
Aside from the scheduled winter activities, the Men at Ralston Bowling Club organise various competitions throughout the season. These events not only provide a chance for members to showcase their bowling skills but also foster a sense of camaraderie within the club.
In addition to the sporting side, Ralston Bowling Club hosts numerous social events throughout the year. From quiz nights to themed parties, there is always something exciting happening. Members are encouraged to keep an eye on the notice boards and the social pages on the club's website to stay up-to-date with the latest events.
