The Merseyside Boxer Club, a boxing club based in Merseyside, has unfortunately decided to discontinue their weekly ringcraft training classes after more than 25 years. It's been a tough decision, but with declining numbers and a lack of interest, it's become financially unfeasible to continue. The last training class will take place on Wednesday, June 5th, 2019, and the final rally night will be judged by Victoria Ellison. The club wants to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported and assisted them throughout the years.
These training classes offered by The Merseyside Boxer Club have been a fantastic opportunity for dog owners who are keen to enter their furry friends into shows. It has also provided a fun and enjoyable experience for those who simply want to train and bond with their dogs. In fact, one of their very own junior handlers, Magda, achieved an impressive Third place at Crufts 2019 in the 6-11 year YKC junior handling class.
For this year, the rally results have been outstanding. We've had successful rallies in January, April, May, and June. These training classes are held on the first Wednesday of each month at Whiston Town Hall, Whiston, Merseyside, L35 3QX, from 8pm to 9:30pm. To our dedicated supporters, we want to extend a warm thank you for your continuous support, and we are excited to welcome you to our new venue. Remember, all dog breeds are welcome, and the fees remain at just £1.00 per dog and £1.00 per person.
During the summer months, our club will have the option to hire the venue for two hours, which will allow us to utilise the outdoor facilities if necessary. We are fortunate to have access to a medium-sized sports hall that provides ample space for obedience and ring craft training. Additionally, light refreshments will be available, and everyone is welcome to attend.
