The RAFC currently offers hire-and-fly and flying training on its fleet of aircraft. The RAFC formed over 30 years ago by a group of RAAF personnel who shared a common interest in recreational flying, and it has since grown into a non-public club open to personnel employed by Defence, their families, and the Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC).
