The OVA Southern Saints Athletics Club, a Pole Vault club located in the Southern Midlands Council, is excited to promote an upcoming local Pole Vault event. This event is a fantastic opportunity for interested players to showcase their skills and engage in friendly competition.
The Race to the Taste, organised by the OVA Southern Saints for over 15 years, is a boutique fun run that starts at the Domain and finishes on the stunning Hobart waterfront. It is an event that promotes a healthy and active lifestyle, and has always received tremendous support from the community.
However, we must unfortunately announce that the Race to the Taste will not be held during the upcoming 2019 New Year's period. This decision has been made due to increasing costs and the requirements associated with not-for-profit organisations. But fear not! The OVA Southern Saints is fully committed to working tirelessly over the next twelve months to secure a major sponsor and bring back the race in the future.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors, donation partners, and the Hobart City Council for their unwavering support throughout the years. Without their contributions, the Race to the Taste would not have been the success that it has been.
