Welcome to Quintin Boat Club, a leading rowing club and gym located in London. Established in 1907, Quintin Boat Club has a rich history and welcomes individuals who are passionate about rowing and making a difference in the sport. Whether you are looking to compete at a high level or enjoy rowing socially, there is a place for you at Quintin Boat Club.
One of our standout features is our impressive fleet of boats. The majority of our fleet is yellow, offering a unique and visually appealing experience on the water. We have a wide range of boats available for all squads, and we even have sculling racks for private boats. For more information, please inquire with us.
At Quintin Boat Club, there is something for everyone. We have squads catered to different demographics, including men, women, recreational rowers, masters, students, and individuals under 25. Whether you are a seasoned rower or a beginner looking to learn, we have a squad that will suit your needs.
Our Men's Squad, led by dedicated coach Jamie Smith, is focused on developing top racing crews and aims to qualify for Henley Regatta. We offer excellent facilities and a variety of boat and crew options, providing a competitive and fulfilling experience for our members.
The Women's Squad at Quintin Boat Club boasts a surprisingly large group of women rowers who have achieved multiple victories at Henley Women's Regatta. Coach Jackie Eastwood runs our Learn to Row section, which has become one of the largest sections of our club. We are committed to expanding and developing this section even further.
For those who prefer a more recreational approach to rowing, our Recreational Squad is the perfect fit. Being out on the river is a fantastic way to stay fit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings in a safe and secure environment. Our recreational squad holds regular sessions on weekdays and weekends, offering a well-rounded training experience for members of all skill levels.
If you are a competitive “Master” or veteran rower, you will be well aware of our successful Racing Squad. Our squad has achieved several gold medals at the National Masters and Munich EuroMasters in recent years. If you are seeking a highly competitive environment and would like to row with a successful squad, we welcome you to join us. We also have a more recreational squad for those who prefer a less competitive approach, and both squads offer a vibrant social aspect as well.
If you are a student or a rower under 25 years old, we have options specifically tailored to your needs. We offer heavily discounted memberships for this category, as well as a holiday membership plan for those who want to row and train during university or college breaks. Check out our joining section for more information on how to get involved.
For beginners, our Learn to Row programme is an excellent opportunity to start your rowing journey. We offer Learn to Row sessions during the warmer months, starting from Easter onwards. At the end of the course, you are welcome to join our existing squads and continue your rowing experience at Quintin Boat Club.
We also have a vibrant community of social and overseas members. Whether you are taking a break from rowing and still want to stay connected to the rowing community or simply want to enjoy the stunning QBC clubhouse and bar, you will find a warm welcome at Quintin. We organise various social events that our social members are always invited to join. It is also worth noting that our bar prices are much lower than regular pubs and clubs.
Don't wait any longer to join Quintin Boat Club and become a part of our rowing community. Get in touch with us today to learn more about our club, join a squad, or inquire about venue hire. We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to Quintin Boat Club.
