Improve their dressage skills. Now, at Quendon Dressage & Training Centre, I bring my years of experience and passion for teaching to create a supportive and progressive environment for riders.
At Quendon Dressage & Training Centre, we believe in providing an atmosphere of enthusiasm and learning. Our goal is to create a riding club for like-minded individuals with a will to progress. We organise rides so that there are never more than two horses working at a time, ensuring that you can get the best from your riding experience. No more having to dodge others while you ride!
With my 37 years of teaching experience to competition level, including working as the chief dressage trainer at Hippikos in Portugal, I have honed my skills in helping riders of all levels excel in their dressage journey. At Hippikos, we used exceptional horses trained up to Grand Prix to help relatively inexperienced riders get a feel for advanced movements. This approach allowed riders to try things they couldn't on their local school horses, leading to great progress. One of my former students, who was a complete novice, is now on her country's young rider team.
We have a range of wonderful and kind horses at Quendon Dressage & Training Centre, capable of working all lateral movements, piaffe, passage, pirouettes, and flying changes, up to one time. These horses will be your trusted and patient teachers, helping you get the most out of your dressage.
If you're interested in joining us, we invite you to book an introductory session. Riders should have a confident seat in walk, trot, and canter and should have started to work the horse on to the contact. At Quendon Dressage & Training Centre, we will nurture your dedication and talent, ensuring you can get the most out of our incredible horses.
