Queensland Contract Bridge Club

Offering sessions six days a week and three nights a week, QCBC provides ample opportunities for bridge enthusiasts to play the game they love.

The club's premises, which are owned freehold by QCBC, are spacious and can accommodate over 40 tables. This allows for a comfortable and enjoyable playing experience for all members. The Tuesday night session at QCBC is widely regarded as the strongest session in Brisbane, attracting experienced players looking for a challenging game.

In addition to regular sessions, QCBC also offers beginners' classes throughout the year. These classes are followed up with help-with-play and supervised duplicate sessions to assist beginners in improving their skills. The club has an extensive library of over 400 separate titles, available for loan to members at no charge, providing further resources for players to expand their knowledge of the game.

QCBC takes pride in its ongoing commitment to learning and offers various opportunities for members to improve their bridge skills. This includes access to online training resources and other learning initiatives.

Table fees per session, starting from January 1st, 2024, are $8 for members and $9 for non-members. If you need a partner for any of the sessions, QCBC can assist in finding one.

For individuals interested in learning bridge, QCBC offers an eight-week beginners' course, with options for both evening and daytime sessions. The first lesson is free, providing an opportunity to try out the course before committing. Additionally, the club offers personalised small group lessons, accommodating four people per class at a time that suits the group. The cost for the beginners' courses is $80 and $100 for the personalised small group lessons.
