Miklas-McCarney Field is thrilled to announce the return of the Queen's Gaels Beach Volleyball Tournament for Summer 2024! Following the fantastic turnout and success of last year's inaugural event, A&R is bringing back this two-day tournament on July 27-28.
This tournament promises an exciting experience for intermediate-level players, with each team guaranteed four games. The format includes three round-robin games and one playoff game, with a single elimination-style bracket for the playoffs. Depending on interest, additional divisions may be offered.
The games will be held at the beach volleyball court located next to Gord Hall on the corner of King Street and Collingwood Street from 10 am to 7 pm. Teams can register for $40 per team (with a minimum of four players and a maximum of six players), and SGPS members receive a $10 discount. The entry fee covers an activity monitor and exclusive prizing for participants.
Registration opens on May 2 at Noon and closes on July 18. Don't miss out on the opportunity to showcase your beach volleyball skills and compete in this thrilling tournament!
