Qigong Sydney | Free Classes is a physical fitness programme and meditation instructor located in Lindfield. The programme offers free qigong classes that provide the benefits of meditation, balance, and improved health. Qigong is a form of “standing meditation” that has been used in China for over three thousand years for general health. It helps individuals gain awareness of their body's energy, known as “qi,” and learn to control it.
Additionally, qigong strengthens the body, increases stamina, and improves mental well-being.
The classes are run by an experienced instructor, Blaise Beach, who has 30 years of experience in martial arts, including 23 years of teaching. Blaise began his training in the UK in Wu Shu Kwan, a full-contact Chinese Kickboxing style under the direction of Grandmaster CK Chang. After a brief period of training in Aikido, he migrated to Australia.
Qigong Sydney is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing free qigong classes to the community. Group classes are available and take place from 10-11 am for one hour. Private lessons are also offered. The classes are held at Jinkers Green Park in Killara, NSW.
