Qigong Craven Arms is a reputable Tai Chi school located in Craven Arms, Shropshire. The school's primary focus is on Dragon and Tiger Qigong exercises, which are designed to enhance overall health, wellbeing, and relaxation. The classes are suitable for beginners, so whether you are new to Qigong or have never even heard of it before, you are warmly welcomed to come and give it a try.
Dragon and Tiger Qigong exercises specifically target the lungs (represented by the dragon) and the liver (represented by the tiger), promoting their strength and vitality. Additionally, these exercises work to benefit the entire internal system of the body, thereby enhancing overall wellbeing. By learning to move and feel the chi, or vital energy, in the etheric field around the body, one can influence the energy meridians inside the body. These exercises have been utilised for centuries in China to shift stagnant qi, which is believed to be the root cause of physical and emotional blockages that can lead to ill health.
No prior knowledge of the body's meridians is necessary to benefit from these exercises. All that is required is regular practise of the exercises. The instructor at Qigong Craven Arms is highly knowledgeable and skilled, ensuring that participants receive proper guidance and instruction.
Classes take place at the Methodist Church Hall in Craven Arms, conveniently located on 10 Corvedale Road. There is a free car park available behind the church hall, known as the Corvedale Road Car Park, which can be accessed via the B4368. Additionally, the church hall is just a seven-minute walk from the Craven Arms Rail Station, making it easily accessible for those using public transportation.
Classes are held on Wednesdays from 10:00 to 11:00, with the option to book a set of eight classes to be taken within 10 weeks for 50 after the first free trial class. Those interested in attending are encouraged to book in advance by emailing or calling the instructor.
