What can I expect during a Pilates session? Each session at Pure Motion Pilates is individually tailored to meet your specific needs and goals. Shirley, the highly trained instructor at Pure Motion Pilates, will guide you through a series of exercises using Pilates apparatus such as the reformer, cadillac, chair, and mat exercises. These exercises aim to build strength in your deep core muscles, improve posture and alignment, and enhance balance and coordination.
Shirley will provide hands-on guidance and adjustments to ensure proper form and technique.
Who can do Pilates? Pilates is suitable for people of all ages, genders, sizes, flexibilities, and physical abilities. Whether you are a beginner or an elite athlete, Pilates can be adapted to suit your needs and abilities. Shirley at Pure Motion Pilates is experienced in working with clients from all walks of life and will create a safe and inclusive environment for your Pilates practise.
How do I get started? If you are new to Pilates, Pure Motion Pilates offers a New Client Start-up package, consisting of four private one-on-one sessions, for $250. These sessions will introduce you to the fundamentals of Pilates and allow Shirley to assess your needs and goals. From there, you can choose to continue with private sessions or join group classes.
What are the prices? Pure Motion Pilates offers various pricing options to suit your needs. Private one-on-one sessions using the apparatus and mat are priced at $85 per session for casual sessions, $400 for five sessions, and $750 for ten sessions. Semi-private sessions for two people are available at $50 per person for casual sessions and $220 per person for five sessions.
Additionally, lunchtime sessions can be arranged upon request. Sessions are 55 minutes long, and there is also an option for sessions to be held on Waiheke Island or in Auckland City in the privacy of your own home or accommodation.
