Puddle Ducks West Yorkshire is a leading swimming school based in Leeds, offering baby and pre-school swimming classes for children, as well as lessons for toddlers, pre-school children, and school-aged children through our Swim Academy classes. Our Baby & Pre-school programme is a wonderful bonding experience for parents and children. Our progressive lesson plans focus on instilling water-confidence and a love of swimming. Our expert teachers tailor activities to your childs abilities and needs, ensuring that they have a positive and engaging experience in the water. Classes are taught in lovely, warm pools with a maximum of ten children, allowing for personalised attention and a supportive environment.
We incorporate rhyme, music, and movement into our lessons, based on extensive child development research. Puddle Ducks West Yorkshire is proud to be the only national baby swim school that is 100% child-led. Our lessons are so well-received that many of the children we teach can swim over 10m before they start school.
In addition to our Baby & Pre-school programme, we also offer Swim Academy classes for school-aged children (4–10 years). Our Swim Academy teaches children to swim beautifully and efficiently, while also developing essential water safety and lifesaving skills. With close-knit class sizes, each child receives the right level of support to suit their age and abilities. We believe in learning through experience, fun, and some repetition.

At Puddle Ducks West Yorkshire, we carefully select hand-picked pools located in Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield, and surrounding areas for our classes. We prioritise warm and welcoming pools to provide a comfortable and enjoyable swimming environment for our students.
