Puddle Ducks at Energie Fitness in East Grinstead offers swimming classes for babies, toddlers, and school-aged children, all orchestrated by founders Clive and Lindsay Relf. Their mission is to create an environment where children can build water confidence and hone their swimming skills.
For babies and pre-schoolers, Puddle Ducks runs a unique programme that encourages bonding between parents and little ones. Conducted in warm pools with just ten children per class, these sessions use rhyme, music, and movement to engage the children, tailored to each child's individual needs and abilities. Many children start school already able to swim over 10 metres.
For older children, aged 4–10, the Swim Academy programme focuses on teaching efficient swimming techniques and essential water safety and lifesaving skills. Small class sizes ensure each child gets the attention they need while keeping the sessions lively and challenging.
The Puddle Ducks team, including senior teachers Allie, Claire, Laura, Robyn, Sarah, and Stefanie, are dedicated to both swimming and child development. Supported by teachers Corinne, Emma G, Emma L, Emma M, Hanna, Jill, Julia, Karen, Louisa, and Sadie, the team creates a secure and enjoyable learning environment.
Classes are held at Energie Fitness in East Grinstead and selected quality pools in the area. Families from a wide range of locations including Arundel, Brighton, Chichester, Crowborough, and beyond, can benefit from these outstanding swimming lessons.
