About the competition

During October, we are encouraging everyone in Australia to get out, get creative and show us their best move. Whether this is a dance move, a trick with a ball, a dive into the pool, or maybe you can juggle?!

Whatever it may be, we want to see your best move in a video that is no longer than 10 seconds.

The person whose move is voted to be the best by the PlaySport team (based on our criteria) will win the competition and the prizes for the month – and they’re pretty epic prizes!

For more details, please see terms and conditions.

Prizes

The epic prize includes; a $150 Rebel Gift Card AND an Ultimate Ears Boom3 Portable Speaker!

To enter is easy!

All you have to do is follow two simple steps to enter:

  1. Upload your video (no longer than 10 seconds)
  2. Subscribe to our newsletter with your name and email address

Then you’ll be in the running for the prizes, it really is that easy!

This competition is now closed.

Judging criteria

15. The Competition is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the winner. As such, each valid entry will be individually judged on a scale from 1-5 (1 being the lowest, 5 being the highest) based on the following:

  • Difficulty of the move
  • Uniqueness of the move
  • Visual appeal
  • Audio and visual quality

16. The entry with the highest total number /20 will be deemed the winner. If, for any reason, there is more than one entrant with the same high score, the judges will vote on what entry they believe to be the ‘best move’ based on the criteria outlined above.

Judging process

17. The judges will be five staff members of the PlaySport team.

18. All entries will be judged by 3rd November 2021 through Google Meet (due to current COVID-19 restrictions) by the five PlaySport staff.

Winner notification

19. The winner will be notified by email from [email protected] by 4th November 2021, using the contact details provided in their entry.

20. The winner will need to provide proof of an Australian address for the prize to be sent to.

Claim period

21. If (having made reasonable efforts) we cannot contact a prize winner within 30 days of the draw, we will conduct an Unclaimed Prize Draw to select a new winner (the next entry with the highest number/20 will be deemed the new winner). This process will be repeated until the prize has been claimed.

Other important factors associated with the prize

22. The Promoter will pay all postage and handling fees to addresses within Australia.

23. The Promoter is not liable for any damage that may occur during postage.

24. If you are a winner, you are responsible for your use of the prize, including complying with all relevant laws and any applicable terms and conditions of use.

Promoter’s use of entries and personal information

25. On submission entrants grant us a license to use their intellectual property associated with the creative work, and give us the right to use the creative work for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation.

26. We will email an entrant first before we use their content, letting them know that we will be publicising it. If the entrant explicitly asks for their content/entry not to be publicised, we will acknowledge this and as a gesture of goodwill we will not publicise their content.

27. By participating in this Promotion, you understand and agree that the Promoter or any of its subsidiaries may use and disclose the personal information provided by you for the purpose of conducting the Promotion and for any of the purposes set out in the PlaySport Privacy Policy (available at www.playsport.com/privacy/).
