Our goalkeeping training sessions take place in various locations, including Leavesden Country Park in Abbots Langley. The 3G astro-turf pitch at Leavesden Country Park offers the perfect setting for mixed-ability goalkeeper training. With ample parking and nearby toilet facilities, it is convenient for goalkeepers from St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Bedmond, Abbots Langley, and Kings Langley to attend our sessions.
We offer group sessions, one-on-one coaching, pre-season training, performance analysis, and goalkeeping camps during school holidays. All of our training sessions are overseen by our Head Coach, Mikhael Jaimez Ruiz, ensuring that players receive individual attention and guidance to help them improve their game.
What sets us apart from other goalkeeper coaching sessions is our commitment to working exclusively with professional goalkeeping coaches and former players. This ensures that our young goalkeepers receive the highest level of coaching available within grassroots football. Additionally, we keep our group sizes small to ensure that every player receives personalised coaching and support.
Mikhael Jaimez Ruiz, our Head Coach, is a former international goalkeeper with over a decade of professional playing experience. In addition to coaching at Proactive Goalkeeping, Mikhael has worked with established clubs such as Watford and QPR academies, as well as coached players in other countries. His vast experience and expertise allow him to mentor young goalkeepers and help them develop their skills and confidence as they represent their local teams.
