Fancy a splash at Priory Sailing Club? Nestled in Bedford, John and the team at Priory Sailing Club are offering a fantastic array of water sports activities. Whether it's sailing, windsurfing, or paddle boarding, they've got you covered at the Priory Water Sports Centre, shared with the Bedfordshire Canoeists.

With a breezy foreshore, easy parking for your dinghies and boards, a superb beach, slipway, and jetty, launching into the water couldn’t be easier. Their spacious clubhouse is packed with amenities to keep you comfy – from changing rooms and showers to a handy self-catering kitchen. Accessibility is key, so there are facilities for everyone, including a ground-floor disabled toilet and shower.

Priory Sailing Club’s lake is open every day from April to October, and even on weekends over winter. Schools and colleges often use the lake during weekdays too. If you've got your own gear, you can grab a visitor ticket for a small fee and dive right in.

Safety is a big deal – John ensures buoyancy aids are a must for dinghy sailing, with windsurfers given the choice. On weekends and summer Wednesday evenings, a safety boat is on standby.
