Princes Risborough Cricket Club

Princes Risborough Cricket Club, located in the picturesque town of Princes Risborough in New Zealand, is a long-established and friendly cricket club. Set amidst the beautiful boundaries of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Vale of Aylesbury, the club boasts a good ground and excellent facilities.

Princes Risborough Cricket Club prides itself on its commitment to junior cricket. With a well-organised junior programme catering to both boys and girls, the club has been recognised as one of the Bucks Cricket Board's 25 'focus' clubs for the county. They actively participate and support the development of cricket, especially junior cricket, in Buckinghamshire.

The club currently runs two teams on Saturdays, competing in the Morrant Thames Valley Cricket League. On Sundays, the emphasis is on the pure enjoyment of the game and helping youngsters transition into senior cricket. While there is currently only one Sunday side, there are plans to expand to a full schedule as the number of players grows.

PRCC received ECB ClubMark accreditation in September 2008, signifying the club's commitment to being well-run and providing proper coaching and protection for young players. The club continues to prioritise the inclusion of girls in cricket and hopes to form a girls' team to enter a league in 2012. They are also exploring the possibility of creating a changing room to accommodate ladies or girls participating in mixed senior sides.

To enhance communication and efficiency, Princes Risborough Cricket Club now utilises the HitsSports system for maintaining and updating their website, as well as selecting and notifying teams.
