That shape our club and guide our actions. These values include inclusivity, diversity, and a focus on widening participation and access to the sport. We believe that football should be for everyone, regardless of their background or ability. We strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where young people can develop their skills, make lifelong friendships, and have fun.
Our aim is to provide high-quality coaching for young people aged 4 to 18. We have a team of experienced and dedicated coaches, many of whom are FA and UEFA qualified. Our coaches have a broad range of experience and qualifications, with some even having academy experience at major leading league and championship clubs. We believe in nurturing the talents of our players and helping them reach their full potential.
Princes Park Youth Football Club is proud of its modern facilities. Our large accessible clubhouse includes a café that provides hot and cold refreshments on match days. We also have changing facilities for 5 teams and 2 match referees. In addition, we have access to a variety of grass pitches, including a full-size 11-a-side pitch, a junior 11-a-side pitch, and a 9-a-side pitch.
We also have two 7-a-side grass pitches and a 7-a-side all-weather floodlit 3G AstroTurf pitch available for private hire outside of matches and training sessions.
The club has a rich history, dating back to 1969 when it was formed by police officers and a magistrate at Princes Park in Temple Fortune. Since then, the club has evolved into a local charity providing grassroots community football to over 250 young people. We are proud to have been the first club in the London Borough of Barnet to receive the FA Charter Standard accreditation in 2002 and FA Standard Development Club status in 2004. We have been actively involved in our community, supporting various initiatives related to disability and special needs, crime prevention, social inclusion, childhood obesity, and drug awareness.
As an active member of our community, we also engage in fundraising activities to support charities such as the British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research, the British Lung Foundation, and the Alzheimer's Society. We believe in giving back and making a positive impact beyond the football pitch.
