Jamie Malthus wants to extend a heartfelt note to the Prince Rupert sports community. The Prince Rupert Minor Hockey Association (PRMHA), located in Prince Rupert, BC, is committed to developing minor hockey. Hockey is a rigorous sport that fosters qualities such as quickness, endurance, effort, commitment, and teamwork—which are crucial for personal growth and success.
Jamie emphasizes that PRMHA provides a variety of resources and opportunities for its players. With a Risk Manager to ensure safety, an Executive Team managing operations, and NW District Player Development programs to nurture player growth, PRMHA is well-equipped to support its community. Jamie is particularly proud of the club's community involvement through events like the Seafeast 4 on 4 Street Hockey tournament and support for local charities such as KidSport Prince Rupert.
For the 2023/2024 season, PRMHA is led by an enthusiastic Executive Team including President Jamie Malthus, VP1 Bill Browne, and Head Coach Vince Aceto. The team also includes key roles such as Registrar, Referee Allocator, Treasurer, Sponsorship Coordinator, Secretary, Web/PR/Events Coordinator, Head Referee, Ice Coordinator, and Equipment Manager.
Jamie encourages everyone—whether you are a player, coach, volunteer, sponsor, or fan—to join the PRMHA community. Connect with the club on social media, email, or visit the arena for an electrifying experience. Come and be a part of PRMHA, and immerse yourself in the spirit of teamwork, dedication, and community involvement through the love of hockey.
