Prestbury Squash Club (PSC) is a members club located in Macclesfield that is open to all. PSC is proud to be one of the very few squash-only clubs in the country, with all four of its courts dedicated to squash and racketball. The club also features a members' bar where players can enjoy refreshments after their matches.
PSC aims to be at the heart of the community by offering opportunities to learn and play squash to local schools and businesses. The men's teams compete in the North West County Squash Leagues, while the ladies' teams participate in the Cheshire Ladies League. Juniors have the chance to showcase their skills in the Cheshire Junior Leagues.
Squash and racketball can be enjoyed at various levels at PSC. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or a more experienced player, the club offers a structured programme to help improve your game or simply enjoy playing socially. Additionally, a 40-minute workout on the squash court once or twice a week can contribute to your overall fitness and health.
PSC warmly welcomes players of all ages to join the club and offers individual and group coaching sessions for ladies, gentlemen, and children. The dedicated committee, including President Babeth Thompson, Chairman Rob Thornycroft, Treasurer Tim Selfe, Membership Secretary Paul Bartle, Club Secretary Chris Dunkerley, Maintenance member Dave Jones, and League Representation member Paul Bartle, work together to ensure the smooth running of the club.
