Pennine Gymnastics Club in Huddersfield, Honley offers a fun and engaging Pre-school program designed specifically for children aged 2–5 years old. Led by our passionate and professional coaches, this program aims to introduce young children to the exciting world of gymnastics while also developing their fundamental physical and social skills.
Our Pre-school program consists of two types of sessions, tailored to meet the needs and abilities of the children. The first option is Jumping Joeys, a structured parent-assisted class perfect for 2-3 year olds. In these sessions, children get to develop their balance, coordination, and basic strength while having a blast with their parents. We have various fun circuits and games set up using gym equipment such as bars, beams, trampolines, and soft play equipment. And don't worry, at the end of each session, we make sure to reward the children with some free play!
For children aged 3 to school-aged, we offer Kangaroo Kids, an independent class where they get to develop gymnastics-specific skills such as forward and backward rolls. This class allows children to work independently and build their confidence. It serves as a stepping stone for them to join our popular recreational sessions once they start school. We understand that every child is unique, so our age ranges are simply guidelines. Upon joining Pennine Gymnastics Club, parents will receive personalised advice on the most suitable class for their child based on their age and ability.
The cost for each session is £8 per hour, and we provide a waiting list for those interested in joining. Our Jumping Joeys sessions are scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays from [time] to [time]. For Kangaroo Kids, the classes are held on Wednesdays and Fridays from [time] to [time]. Please note that there are no classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
