The Pre-Professional Program is excited to announce auditions for their 2025 program, set to take place in Brisbane, Qld in September 2024. This full-time vocational training program aims to develop creative, versatile, and employable dance artists. Accredited by the Australian Teachers of Dance (ATOD), the program is supported by the Queensland Government and The L&R Foundation.
Those interested in joining the program can expect four terms running throughout 2025 at the Judith Wright Arts Centre in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. The program, priced at $13,000 (inclusive of admin charges), offers a nationally recognised qualification in CUA60120 Advanced Diploma of Professional Dance (Elite Performance). Led by industry professionals, students will hone their skills in Creative Practice, Physical Practice, Sustainable Practice, and Multidisciplinary Practice.
Under the guidance of experienced instructors such as Amy Hollingsworth, Jack Lister, and Gabrielle Nankivell, students will have access to various performance opportunities including dedicated seasons, understudy roles, and collaboration with ADC's Artistic team and Company Artists. The teaching staff is committed to providing students with the necessary skills to thrive in the arts landscape.
