Join Duo Pilates Club for Pre & Post Natal Pilates in Camp Hill/Coorparoo. Duo Pilates Club, owned by Alex Richardson, warmly welcomes pregnant ladies to join the Saturday Morning Mat Class at Coorparoo Hall, located at 210 Cavendish Road. The class runs from 7:30am to 8:30am, providing the perfect opportunity for expectant mothers to support their fitness during pregnancy.
Please remember to seek clearance from your doctor or physiotherapist before joining the class. The Pilates class is specifically designed to cater to the needs of pregnant women, offering gentle exercises and support to help them stay fit and healthy throughout their pregnancy journey.
Once you have given birth, Duo Pilates Club also offers Post-Natal Pilates to help you gradually and safely transition back to exercise. We are dedicated to providing the necessary education on breathing techniques, pelvic floor, and core engagement before integrating you into our group Pilates classes.
At Duo Pilates Club, we offer three different ways to support your postnatal fitness journey:
1. 6 Week Post Natal Program: We provide a new program every 6 weeks at Coorparoo Hall. For those who prefer online access, our Post Natal Program is available while Alex is on maternity leave. Remember to seek clearance from your GP or physio before starting the program.
2. Online Post-Natal Program: We have developed a comprehensive 12-part video series that covers various aspects of postnatal exercise. Each video ranges from 10 to 20 minutes, focusing on gentle exercises to ease you back into a regular exercise routine. This program is suitable for Pilates, running, and strength training enthusiasts alike.
3. Private Sessions at Camp Hill Home Studio: If you prefer a more personalised approach, you have the option to book 1-3 private sessions with Alex at her Camp Hill Home Studio. This allows you to navigate the transition phase under her expert guidance.
In addition, Duo Pilates Club offers a specialised 6-Week Post Natal Program led by our very own Alex Richardson. This program is specifically designed for women who are 0-6 months postpartum. The classes take place every Tuesday and Friday at 11am at Coorparoo Hall. This program aims to provide crucial support, help you create an exercise habit, reconnect with your body, and offer an opportunity for new moms to socialise and share experiences.
