Powerplay Football Club, led by Anthony Vacher, is a community-driven football club based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Operating out of Benfield Sports Centre, the club features a state-of-the-art 3G pitch, ideal for serious 6-a-side men’s football leagues held on Mondays and Wednesdays.

The 18-week leagues offer 35-minute matches each week, balancing competitive spirit with a social atmosphere. There’s a weekly fee of £34 per team, and at the end of each season, the top-performing teams are rewarded with trophies and medals. Players aged 16 and over are welcome, with captains required to be at least 18.

Powerplay makes payment easy through weekly online options. The club opens its doors to players from North Shields, Jesmond, Wallsend, and beyond, committed to inclusivity. Ample parking is available at Benfield Sports Centre, and the pitch supports moulded studs and astro trainers.
