Whether you're a beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this course covers essential topics such as close-quarters handling, planing speed maneuvers, man-overboard recovery, and collision regulations. No prior knowledge is required, and the minimum duration is 2 days. The practical curriculum includes launching and recovery, boat handling, securing to a buoy, anchoring, man-overboard procedures, and safety measures.
After completing the course, participants will be equipped to operate a powerboat independently in suitable conditions, understanding both their own limits and those of the craft. Successful completion also allows participants to apply for a coastal ICC for Power up to 10m.
