Roam Wild Outdoor Fitness presents their postnatal training sessions, specially designed to help new mothers get back in shape. These sessions focus on rehabilitating the core, activating the pelvic floor, and establishing proper breathing patterns.
Led by experienced personal trainers, the classes incorporate a mix of free weight and bodyweight exercises to help you build strength in your entire body. Not only will you improve your cardiovascular fitness, but you'll also enhance your agility and flexibility.
What makes these sessions even better is that they're fun, friendly, and suitable for all fitness levels. However, it is important to note that participants must have undergone their 6-week postnatal check and been given the go-ahead to exercise.
Normally held on Thursdays at the court room in Staverton, Roam Wild Outdoor Fitness occasionally takes advantage of the great weather by moving the session to the sports field at Meadowbrook, Dartington. But don't worry, a notification will be sent out to all group members before each session to ensure everyone is aware of the change of location.
Feel free to bring your little ones along to the class. Babies and young children are welcome, although please be aware that no specific childcare provision is included. Throughout the session, you can join and leave as needed to tend to your child's needs and ensure their happiness. We even provide a blanket and encourage you to bring along some extra toys to keep them entertained.
The postnatal training sessions cost £12 per session. It's important to note that the organiser cannot take responsibility for any babies or children attending the session.
