Post Natal Classes have arrived at Windmill Hill Community Centre on Vivian Street, and it's time for new mums to get back into shape and connect with other mums in the area. No matter what your fitness level may be, these classes are suitable for you. You can join them as soon as 6 weeks after a vaginal birth or 12 weeks after a C-section, just make sure you have the approval from your doctor or midwife.
Introducing Sarah Langford, a highly qualified Pre and Postnatal Personal Trainer/Pilates Instructor who will be leading these classes. Sarah has carefully designed the workouts to include a basic aerobics routine, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) program, toning exercises specifically targeting the major muscles that undergo changes during pregnancy, and of course, a cool-down session to stretch and relax at the end. Sarah's ultimate aim for these classes is to ensure that postnatal exercise is not only safe and effective, but also practical, social, and most importantly, fun!
Now, if you happen to have any pre-existing injuries or health issues like back, wrist, or knee problems, fret not! Sarah has got your back and can provide alternative exercises to ensure your workout is both safe and effective.
Don't forget to mark your calendars because these classes take place every Monday and Wednesday at Windmill Hill Community Centre. And here's the best part – a 4-week term will only cost you £28, or if you prefer, you can attend individual drop-in sessions for just £9. Now that's great value for money!
