The coaches at Positive Fitness have a wealth of knowledge in the field of strength and conditioning, gained from years of experience. They are dedicated to helping their team members move towards their fitness goals through specific programming, guidance, and encouragement.
The head coach at Positive Fitness is Ross Graham, who has extensive experience in the leisure industry, having worked for some of the largest leisure companies in the UK. As an ex international gymnast, Ross brings a strong depth of knowledge and understanding of what it takes to be the best. He firmly believes in the principles behind gymnastics conditioning in relation to athlete development, with a key focus on athlete robustness.
Chloe Summerson is the youth assistant coach at Positive Fitness. She delivers coaching support in Mini Superheroes and Athlete Crew, having gained her Youth Strength and Conditioning Coach accreditation. Chloe has a firm understanding of long-term athletic development, applying this principle not only to her own sport as a competitive figure skater but also to all TEAM NEAD athletes who work with her.
Florence Springle is another youth assistant coach at Positive Fitness, and she has proven to be a fantastic asset to the team. With a background in competitive ice skating, Florence has built an incredible level of strength and learned the practise of great form. She is now able to pass these skills on to the next generation of athletes at NEAD, all while continuing her successful career in ice skating.
Leeanne Thompson is the junior development coach at Positive Fitness. She has a solid depth of knowledge within sports and activities at a Key Stage 1 and 2 level. Leeanne delivers PE/Sports/Games lessons within the North Tyneside district and is highly regarded in her PE lessons. She believes in learning through playing, which is evident in her sessions where every child learns, develops, and enjoys their session.
Ryan Hill is a coach at Positive Fitness, specialising in strength and conditioning for all TEAM NEAD athletes. Ryan brings a wide set of skills to the table, being a competitive powerlifter himself with impressive achievements such as a deadlift of 250 kg. He knows what it takes to compete at the top level in sport, having competed internationally as a kickboxer for many years. Ryan has also recently pursued a university course as an undergraduate to enhance his skills in sports rehabilitation, giving him a firm understanding of injury management and athlete robustness.
