Portsdown Archery Club also offers an exciting opportunity for its members through the 252 Scheme. This scheme aims to encourage archers to work on their technique and increase their confidence in consistently scoring at different distances. The scheme includes shooting distances of 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 80 yards. Archers who achieve each distance will be awarded different colour badges as recognition of their accomplishment.

To reach the club, one can turn into Tangier Road from either Eastern Road or Copnor Road and drive halfway towards Baffins Pond. At the Baffins public house, archers can turn left or right onto Westover Road, depending on the direction of approach.

Following Westover Road to the end and ahead at the crossroad will lead them into the gravel car park of Portsdown Archery Club.
