Welcome to the Port Kennedy Cats Football Club! Located at Warnbro Oval on Swallowtail Parade in Port Kennedy, we are a proud and inclusive local football club. As a part of the Peel District competition, we offer opportunities for players of all ages, from Auskick to juniors and youth teams. At our club, you are more than just a number you become a part of the PK Cats family.
Our club is run by an Executive Committee, as well as dedicated volunteer families who are committed to ensuring that every child feels valued, is constantly learning, and most importantly, having fun. We believe in creating an environment that fosters not only the development of football skills but also the building of lifelong friendships and a sense of community.
If you're interested in joining our club, we warmly welcome new players. Whether your child wants to join Auskick, the junior teams, or the youth teams, we would be thrilled to have you down at the club. The Port Kennedy Cats Football Club was established in 2008 as an Auskick Centre and has since grown to include both junior and youth teams. Throughout our history, we have prioritised our inclusive and family-oriented values, which we have consistently maintained. In 2020, our Year 7 youth boys team made it to the Grand Final, and in 2021, the same team made it to the Preliminary Finals. We are proud of these achievements and continue to build and grow our membership numbers.
Our committee members are enthusiastic and passionate about the club's success. Led by Brodie Adriaens as President, our team includes Mike Markovic as Vice President and Year 4 Coach, Trevor King as Registrar, Becky Bolton as Secretary, and Claire Boxall as Auskick Coordinator. Together, we work tirelessly to ensure the smooth running of the club and provide the best possible experience for our players.
The Port Kennedy Cats Football Club has had several club highlights over the years. We would like to congratulate Toby Williams for receiving the Peel District Best & Fairest Award, which is a significant achievement for our club. Additionally, we are proud to have five of our Year 8 players selected for the U'14 Peel Thunder and South Fremantle Development Squads. We have also had PK Cats kids win the ABC (Act Belong Commit) Awards, Coaches Awards, and All-Rounder Awards.
These successes demonstrate the dedication and talent within our club.
