He has worked in Hong Kong for the Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club and has also been the chief instructor for the riding for the disabled. Stuart has also worked in the racing industry and has exceptional skills in backing young horses and re-educating problem horses. He has competed in grand prix show jumping and dressage and continues to compete while also producing young horses and offering training services for clients.

Jenny Smith, another experienced equestrian professional, brings her expertise to Poplars Farm Stables. She has worked at a Warwickshire riding school and has experience with the riding for the disabled. She has also worked as a groom and a work rider for Tooth racing and as a travelling groom for show jumpers. With her talent and skills, she quickly joined Poplars Farm Stables in 1999.

Jenny has a keen eye for selecting and producing young horses, which she continues to do at the facility.

Poplars Farm Stables is also a livery yard and stud, where they have bred several of their own horses. Their dedication to breeding and producing quality horses has been recognised, as one of their home-bred horses was selected for the World Class Equine Pathway.
