Poole Amateur Boxing Club

Welcome to Poole Amateur Boxing Club! We are a competitive amateur boxing club that is entirely run by dedicated volunteers. Our mission is to support and engage with the young people in the Poole and Bournemouth area, providing them with an inclusive and safe environment to develop their boxing skills and reach their full potential.

At Poole ABC, our coaching team is led by experienced and certified professionals. Head Coach Mike Diffey holds a Level 2 coaching qualification, ensuring that our members receive expert guidance and training. Assisting him is Dan Stacey, a Level 1 coach, and Neal Partridge, a highly skilled Level 4 coach. Together, they bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our club, ensuring that our members receive the best possible training.

We pride ourselves on having a strong leadership team at Poole ABC. Brett White serves as the Chairman of the club and also holds a Level 2 coaching qualification. Adele Newcomb, in addition to being a Level 1 coach, is our dedicated Welfare Officer, offering support and guidance to our members both inside and outside the ring. Mike Hare and Kelvin Kearley, both Level 1 coaches, contribute their expertise to the club's success.

Finally, Liam Diffey, a Level 1 coach, and Leo Toms, our President, and a Level 4 coach, complete our passionate and skilled team of leaders.

Located at Rossmore Road in Poole, BH12 3NJ, our club provides a convenient and accessible venue for our members. We have regular training sessions that cater to individuals of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned boxers. These sessions are designed to improve both fitness and boxing technique, allowing our members to progress and achieve their personal goals.

We believe that the sport of boxing offers countless benefits beyond physical fitness.
