Courtenay Recreation is excited to announce Pooch-A-Poolooza! On August 31, 2024, the Courtenay Outdoor Pool at Lewis Park will be transformed into a haven for our four-legged friends.
From 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, dogs of all shapes and sizes are invited to take a dip in both the wading pool and the big pool. For just $5.00 per dog, your furry companion can make a splash and help support a good cause – all proceeds will be donated to the local SPCA.
Before heading to the pool, make sure your pooch is up to date on their vaccinations and ready to mingle with other doggy swimmers. Only dogs will be allowed in the water during the event, but no worries, our friends from Van Isle Veterinary Clinic will be on hand to ensure a safe and fun experience for all.
In addition to a day of wet wagging tails, Woofy’s Pet Foods will be providing giveaways for all attendees. So grab your furry friend, proof of vaccination, and a towel, and get ready for a paw-some pool party! Let's make a splash and give our dogs a doggone good time at Pooch-A-Poolooza!
