Our founder, Hanshi Pollet, has dedicated his life to the study and practise of martial arts. He understands that the martial arts journey is not just about learning self-defence techniques, but also about developing important values such as perseverance, fearlessness, virtue, and leadership skills.
Our academy offers programmes for all ages and skill levels. From our Little Tigers programme for 2-year-olds to our adult and family programmes, there is something for everyone. We also cater to government departments and school children, providing specialised training and self-defence classes.
In addition to our wide range of programmes, Pollet's Karate Academy offers classes in Karate, Okinawan Kobudo, Muay Thai, and Boxing. Karate, originated from Okinawa, Japan, is a striking art that focuses on punching, kicking, knee, and elbow strikes. Our Karate curriculum also includes grappling, locks, restraints, throws, and vital point strikes. Okinawan Kobudo is an ancient martial arts weaponry system that includes the use of weapons such as Bo, Sai, Nunchaku, and more.
Muay Thai, also known as the art of eight limbs, is a combat sport that combines punches, kicks, knees, and elbows.
