Polaris Taekwondo

Polaris Taekwondo is a highly regarded Karate club located in Bromley, New Zealand. With a strong focus on inclusivity and family values, the club provides Taekwondo classes in a fun and safe environment. Polaris Taekwondo follows the training programme established by British Taekwondo and adheres to the standards set by World Taekwondo. The club's gradings are conducted according to British Taekwondo guidelines and overseen by an independent high-grade British Taekwondo examiner. In addition to self-defence techniques, Polaris Taekwondo emphasises personal development in areas such as self-control, discipline, confidence, self-esteem, and more. Regardless of age or ability, participating in Taekwondo classes at this club will improve fitness levels and general well-being.

Classes are held at Valley Primary School, located on Beckenham Lane in Bromley. There are two class options available each week. The Tuesday class runs from 6:45 to 7:45 pm, while the Saturday class runs from 9:15 to 10:15 am.

Polaris Taekwondo also actively participates in various competitions. Notable upcoming events include the 8th Harrogate KTA Mayor Cup Open Poomsae Championships, taking place on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Rossett Sports Centre in Harrogate. The following year, on Saturday, April 6, 2024, the club will again attend the 8th Harrogate KTA Mayor Cup Open Poomsae Championships. Additionally, Polaris Taekwondo will take part in the London Taekwondo Poomsae Championship on Saturday, May 12, 2024, at Haberdashers' Knights Academy in Bromley.

On Sunday, September 22, 2024, the club will compete in the Bluewave 7th Open Poomsae Championship at Hampshire Court Hotel in Basingstoke.
