PointsBet Invitational

The PointsBet Invitational is the talk of the town here at Bob Niven Centre. It's an exciting curling event that you won't want to miss! The event will be taking place at the WinSport Event Centre from September 24 to September 29, 2024, and will feature the best men's and women's teams from Canada battling it out on the ice.

With sixteen teams from each gender competing in a sudden-death single-knockout format, the competition is sure to be fierce. Not to mention, there's a prize purse of over $350,000 up for grabs! This event marks the start of the 2024-25 competitive season, which is a crucial time for Canadian teams looking to qualify for the 2026 Winter Olympics.

All participating teams will receive $5,000 to help cover travel and accommodation costs, with additional winnings for each victory in the tournament. The winning women's and men's teams will each take home $24,000, making for a total prize of $50,000.
