Pointe-Claire Swim Club

Pointe-Claire Swim Club, located in Pointe-Claire, is a prestigious swim club with a rich history dating back to its founding in 1966 under the supervision of renowned coach George Gate. The club is home to over 370 swimmers between the ages of 6 and 21 who train regularly and compete in provincial, national, and international competitions. Supported by a team of 20 certified coaches, swimmers at Pointe-Claire Swim Club have the opportunity to develop their skills and reach their full potential in the sport.

The club is led by Head Coach Martin Gingras, who brings over 22 years of coaching experience and has helped numerous athletes achieve success on the national level. Assistant Head Coach Paul Biloserskyj, who has been involved in the sport of swimming since the early 1990s, also plays a crucial role in guiding swimmers to reach their goals. With a strong emphasis on speed and the ability to listen and respond to feedback, the club's coaches look for dedicated and committed individuals to join their program.

In addition to the competitive swim team, Pointe-Claire Swim Club also offers a Masters Swim Club for adults of all ages and experience levels. With nearly 200 adult swimmers currently enrolled, the Masters Swim Club provides a great opportunity for individuals to stay fit, improve their swimming technique, and even compete if desired. Under the guidance of nine certified coaches, members of the Masters Swim Club enjoy a supportive team atmosphere and challenging workouts tailored to their individual levels.

Considered one of the best diving clubs in Canada, the Pointe-Claire Dive Club has been a standout performer for over 40 years. With about 140 members of all ages participating in various competitions throughout the year, the club offers different levels ranging from Precompetitive to National. Under the supervision of a team of eight certified coaches, divers at Pointe-Claire Dive Club have the chance to hone their skills and showcase their talent on a competitive stage.
