Plymouth Aspire Girls FC is a well-established football club in Plymouth, New Zealand. This club is exclusively for girls and aims to create a fun and enjoyable environment for the development and nurturing of girls' football skills. The club also focuses on building friendships among the players in an imaginative and inspirational way.
They offer various age groups for girls to participate in, including U11, U13, U15, and U18 teams for the upcoming 2021-2022 season. The club welcomes new players and provides open training sessions, where girls of all skill levels can come and join in.
The U11 Girls team is for girls in school years 5 and 6 starting in September 2021. The team is managed by Mel Curtis, who is also the Development Team Coordinator. The team's training sessions and home games take place at Plymouth Speedway in Coypool Road, Plympton. During winter, the team's training moves to Lipson Community College in Bernice Terrace, Plymouth.
For girls in school years 7 and 8 starting in September 2021, there is the U13 Girls team. The team is managed by Chris and also holds their training sessions and home games at Plymouth Speedway. During winter, the team trains at Brickfields Astro in Maddern Road, Devonport.
Girls in school years 9 and 10 can join the U15 Girls team, which is managed by Alan Looker. The team's training sessions and home games also take place at Plymouth Speedway. During winter, the team trains at Lipson Community College.
Lastly, there is the U18 Girls team for girls in school years 11 and 12. The team's season and training details will be announced soon.
