The Greens Beach Golf Club is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated Ladies Player of the Year and Men’s Player of the Year competition! This exciting event will run from the first Saturday in December all the way through to the last Saturday in November, giving our skilled members plenty of opportunities to showcase their talent on the green.
What makes this competition even better is that it is open to all members who participate in our Saturday comps at Greens Beach. So, if you're already a regular player, you're in luck! The competition will seamlessly run alongside our usual Saturday games, using the popular stableford format. That means you don't have to worry about any extra rules or gimmicks – just turn up, play your best game, and have a great time!
To be eligible for the coveted title of Player of the Year, our members will need to compete in a minimum of 15 games throughout the competition period. If you're feeling particularly passionate about the game (and we know many of our members are!), you're welcome to play more than 15 games. However, please note that only your top 15 scores will be taken into consideration for the final rankings.
Come the end of November, we will be crowning the Player of the Year for both ladies and men based on their outstanding performance throughout their 15 rounds. It's sure to be an exciting conclusion to the competition, and we can't wait to see who will come out on top this year!
