Pitch & Putt is a charming miniature golf course located in the heart of London at Alexandra Park, celebrating 150 years of Ally Pally. Nestled among the trees and hills, this 10-hole par course is the perfect destination for golf enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're seeking friendly competition, looking to get started in the game, or simply seeking some fun, Pitch & Putt offers a delightful experience.
The Pitch & Putt course is currently closed for autumn/winter but will reopen in spring 2024. On weekends, bank holidays, and school holidays, the course operates from 10 am until dusk.
To book a round of golf, one can simply choose the desired date and time that suits them best. Each round can accommodate up to four people, and to ensure an enjoyable pace of play, one group is allowed to tee off every 15 minutes. Standard admission to Pitch & Putt is priced at 7. 50, while those under the age of 16 can enjoy the course at a discounted rate of 5. Club and ball hire is available at an additional cost of 2 per person, although players are welcome to bring their own equipment. Extra ball hire is also available for 1.
Please note that no other concessions, apart from the under 16 discount, are available at this time.
Pitch & Putt offers a beginner-friendly environment for those who want to experience the thrill of golf without the pressure of a full 18-hole course. The holes are designed to be between 40 and 100 yards in length, allowing players to practise their swings and get a feel for the game. Equipment, including clubs and balls, is provided for those who need it, and a scorecard is given to each player. The objective is simple: get the ball into the hole in as few shots as possible.
The player with the lowest score emerges as the winner.
After a delightful round of golf, players can head to the Golf Hut Coffee Shop, where the loser traditionally buys drinks. This offers a cosy and welcoming space to relax, reflect on the game, and enjoy a refreshing beverage.
